Responsibilities
Create process maps for purchasing workflows to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
Develop and communicate new processes and metrics to measure and improve performance.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand and deliver on business objectives and requirements.
Conduct market research and analyze data to identify cost savings/cost avoidance opportunities.
Inform procurement decision-making by providing stakeholders metrics and reports and communicating data-driven insights.
Analyze inventory levels against forecasted demand and monitor supply chain performance.
Support strategic initiatives of the Raw Material Management Team.
Lead Raw Material risk planning by developing, measuring and communicating relevant metrics.
Work with cross-functional teams to help implement initiatives and align business goals.
Provide data to support corporate initiatives in sustainability, compliance and regulatory.
Utilize third party resources into to enhance risk management, gain market intelligence, and optimize resources.
Engage in Material Buyer/Planner job functions.

Required
5-7 years’ experience in procurement OR Bachelor’s degree in related field with 3-5 years of procurement experience required
1-3 years’ SAP Experience: Materials Management (MM) module strongly preferred
Knowledge and experience in ERP systems
Proficient with MS Office suite –advanced skills with MS Excel
Preferred
Purchasing/Supply Chain Certification
