Responsibilities
Develop and implement global procurement and sourcing strategies for plastics consumables and resin commodities.
Lead sourcing activities, direct RFP activities, and negotiate vendor contracts.
Identify and qualify potential suppliers, evaluate performance, and manage long-term partnerships to enhance capabilities.
Work with cross-functional teams to identify cost-saving opportunities, lead time reductions, quality enhancements, and improved service levels.

Required
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Procurement or Supply Chain Management, or related discipline. MBA preferred.
Work Experience: 6+ years’ experience in Procurement with at least 2 years in Supply Assurance Buying and 2 years in Demand Buying, Materials Management or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience sourcing vendors through an RFP process and negotiating vendor contracts.
Act as a leader and project manager for various supply chain initiatives, RFPs, and supply optimization projects.
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Full knowledge and application of the principles and theories of procurement and supply chain.
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office (Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Strong oral and written communication, confident negotiator, and strong multitasking and organizational skills.
This position requires 25% international and domestic travel.
Preferred
Coursework towards CPM/CPSM and/or CPIM certification is preferred.
