Responsibilities
You will manage the production of a high volume of titles per year.
Source, engage, and foster good working relationships with external production vendors and outside contractors, including narrators, recording & production studios, directors, etc.
Conduct preliminary research for assigned titles and present production budgets to AP and Editorial.
Develop casting lists and collaborate with editors and authors to find the right voice for your titles. Utilizing industry resources will be necessary.
Work with the other producers to expand our narrator talent pool.
Oversee projects from start to finish while maintaining a high level of production quality.
Ensure that the audiobook production runs on schedule and within budget, troubleshooting any problems that may arise by working closely with the in-house production team to create solutions.
Cultivate relationships with editors, authors, and agents.
Manage other misc. aspects of production (adaptations, scripts abridgements, invoice processing, etc.).
Stay updated on industry trends to help bring new ideas and discussions to the team and your projects.
Direct select titles as needed.

Required
Minimum 4 years of audiobook publishing experience
Ability to set priorities and problem solve under pressure
Is a self-starter and strong team member
Must be extremely detail-oriented and well-organized, with strong project management skills
Excellent communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, skilled at Excel
Preferred
Conversational or fluent in Spanish, a plus
