Responsibilities

Leading medical product development: working with application engineers on new opportunities; creating product specifications; developing technical plans for execution

Designing products and performing materials, product, and process-related testing and method development for new products. Measuring and analyzing key product characteristics

Using current processes and equipment to make prototypes. Creating protocols and writing FDA and ISO regulated documents for new material and new process qualification

Defining and sourcing required equipment and tooling required for product development

Leading design reviews for new product development and being an active member of a cross-functional team (CFT)

Documenting key development & processes for new products, including DFMEA’s, risk management. Familiar with DOEs, Product Characterization, IQ/OQ/PQ reports, Work Instructions & Control Plans

Working with the processing team in newly developed processes to ensure a smooth transition to production. Identifying key process requirements for DFM considerations
