Responsibilities
Oversee the overarching UI/UX of the product, while going deep on certain projects
Manage, role model, and mentor a team of IC Designers
Create and uphold design best practices, and manage complex, cross-functional projects
Drive vision for product language and content across our platform
Prioritize effectively, use data to inform your decisions, weigh the impact and tradeoffs of decisions, and seek input where needed to drive alignment on conflicting priorities.

Required
Track record of delivering results in a fast-moving, startup or growth phase environment
5+ years experience as a Product Designer or UX Designer
Experience managing design systems or working closely with design system owners
Strong relationship building skills; experience managing stakeholders and cross-functional partners
Ability to communicate effectively with different functional groups: engineers, scientists, stakeholders, and senior business leaders
