Responsibilities

Create beautiful customer experiences inside our products

Provide engineering with all they need to create a great looking, high functioning, easy to use product.

Influence and shape the product and feature design direction by partnering closely with the broader functional areas.

Identify product improvement opportunities and translate product insights into better user experience and company growth.

When needed, modify existing designs to meet customer and growth needs and work in collaboration with other team members.

Present compelling product design ideas through process flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mock-ups

Use data collected from research, user testing, and market analysis to create truly user-centric experiences

Develop and maintain all necessary design documentations, including design systems and style guides.

Required

Minimum of 2 years in software product design

Proven experience in all phases of the design process, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, visual design, interaction design, and usability testing

An intuitive eye for customer needs beyond the obvious

Experience building and using design systems

Proven love of learning and continuous improvement

Fluent in Figma and similar tools

Must have previous remote work experience if outside Birmingham, AL.

Very fluent with cascading stylesheets (CSS) and design frameworks.

Ability to periodically travel to in person meetings with team members and team summits.
