Responsibilities
Serve as the primary designer in the company, working closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to create intuitive designs that solve customer problems in a delightful way and align to the goals of the business. You will take designs from low fidelity mockups all the way to high fidelity prototypes, and collaborate with engineers to ensure effective implementation.
Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, engineers, and other stakeholders to advocate for user-centered design principles. Act as a strategic partner, providing valuable insights and recommendations throughout the product development lifecycle.
Oversee and participate in all phases of the user research process, including user recruitment, study design, data collection, analysis, and reporting. Utilize various qualitative and quantitative research methods, such as usability testing, surveys, interviews, and competitive analysis, to gain deep insights into user needs and behaviors.
Champion positive user experience principles throughout the company and set the standard for elevating products through user-centered design.
Periodically travel and visit customers in their work environments, understanding and empathizing with their lives and how our product can improve their day. Translate those observations into product opportunities.
Work with go-to-market team stakeholders to produce marketing materials and visual designs that support GTM motions (such as website and sales collateral).

Required
A degree in a design-related field (HCI, interaction, visual), or comparable work experience.
5+ years of product design experience, with experience in designing for data-centric products
Experience designing for desktop and ios applications
A curiosity for how business, social, technical and behavioral factors impact the UX across the user journey inside and outside the product UX.
A passion to influence the product team, drive the design process and product strategy, and communicate design ideas persuasively and concisely to all functions of the organization, including executives.
A pro at implementing quality design across all surfaces.

Preferred
Experience designing for products that operate both in a physical space and digital space.
Experience in designing and maintaining design systems
Experience with the basics of warehousing operation
