Responsibilities
Reporting to the Head of Product Development
Helping with day to day product development related account management of existing clients such as WOLFpak, Evry Jewels, Val Cucina, Steven Singer Jewelers and Dream Big Little Co.
Assisting with licensee product approvals and administration, coordinating the development process from concept through to final production, ensuring all deadlines are met.
Working with the Head of Product Development to ensure that all product development schedules and line plans are maintained and up to date
Aligning with the Head of Product Development on the upkeep of Licensee product development line plans and sending to clients when changes occur
Aligning with VP of Licensing – North America to support clients where necessary
Supporting clients across the full approval process and any queries that they may have throughout the process
Assisting in reviewing product designs, mock-ups, and prototypes, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines and licensor requirements
Familiarising with licensor style guides and artwork etc. to assist clients with identifying the most suitable assets to work with.
Review and approve samples and prototypes to ensure adherence to product specifications and quality standards
Addressing licensor feedback, coordinate revisions, and manage resubmissions to meet licensor requirements.
Familiarising with product development portals such as MediaBox, Flowhaven, OPA etc.
Ensuring all products comply with legal, safety, and market regulations.
Maintaining accurate records of specifications, approvals, certifications, and documentation.
Proactively addressing and resolving challenges that arise during product development, ensuring minimal impact on timelines.
Collaborating with teams to find creative solutions to design, production, or compliance issues.
Conducting competitor shopping and online research to identify market trends and opportunities
Manage in-house company tracking of product development
Prepare and share updates on product development progress with internal and external stakeholders.
Attending client or licensor meetings
Other duties as requested by company CEO, VP of Licensing or Head of Product Development
Attendance at industry events and tradeshows including Licensing Expo in Las Vegas
Creating or contributing to company newsletters
Diary management and booking meetings
Content creation and management of social media platforms including LinkedIn and Instagram
