Responsibilities

Create and test new designs for automated products.

Design, modify, or create new products for market release.

Utilize dispensary product knowledge and consumer product experience.

Work closely with product owners, engineering team, and Director to understand client needs.

Create mechanical designs incorporating electronic packaging and motor controls.

Evaluate designs, develop execution plans, and propose design changes for reliability and cost savings.

Create and maintain mechanical design documentation and perform design feasibility analysis.

Support new products through release to manufacturing and field deployment.

Research, assess, and adapt to new technologies for future changes and modifications.

Background with bringing new automated products to market

Experience in creating and testing new designs

Knowledge with Ideation, Materials, and finishes, NPD/NPI

Create mechanical designs incorporating electronic packaging and motor controls

Evaluate designs and develop execution plans to meet product goals

Propose and implement design changes for reliability improvement and cost savings

Create and maintain mechanical design documentation, ECNs

Perform design feasibility analysis utilizing Solidworks, GD&T standards to create prototypes

Support new products through release to manufacturing and field deployment

Research, assess, and adapt to new technologies for future changes and modifications of existing equipment
