Responsibilities
Develop, refine, and analyze solid models and assemblies for innovative healthcare products, ensuring high-quality design standards and effective functionality.
Collaborate in the prototyping, testing, and evaluation of new product assemblies to support iterative design improvements and meet performance criteria.
Design plastic injection-molded parts and oversee the setup and validation of manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with industry standards and efficient production.
Work closely with Document Control to maintain accurate and up-to-date solid model files, assembly files, and technical drawings, supporting regulatory and quality documentation.
Apply knowledge of Design for Manufacturing and Assembly (DFMA) principles and medical device design controls to meet quality, regulatory, and usability standards.
Provide technical support for product enhancements, prototyping, and troubleshooting, leveraging expertise in manufacturing processes, materials, and solid modeling.

Required
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related.
3+ years of experience required.
Medical device experience with a strong knowledge of design controls and ISO13485 quality standards.
Willingness to work in a cross-functional setting, supporting manufacturing and other areas as needed.
Preferred
6+ years of experience preferred;
Strong design skills modeling complex components; SolidWorks experience is preferred.
Experience with plastic injectioned molded parts and working with electromechanical components is preferred.
