Responsibilities
Ensure proper technical design for the APC product line in accordance with Design Guidelines and Contract Specifications with a focus on Wet Electrostatic Precipitators and Wet Systems.
Work with Product Managers to maintain and update Design Guidelines as required.
Support Sales and Applications engineering by providing technical support, specification reviews, and sizing information for proposals.
Prepare Piping and Instrumentation drawings and Process Flow diagrams for projects.
Ensure GA and Fabrication drawings are compliant with standards and project specifications.
Provide drawing checking and approval prior to release for fabrication.
Prepare technical specifications for purchases related to the product supply.
Assist in developing Functional descriptions and Operation and Maintenance manuals for projects.
Provide technical support to Project Managers and Project Engineers for timely project completion.
Author technical literature, manuals, tech specs, and white papers.
Provide Wet ESP related technical assistance including product commissioning, troubleshooting, system evaluations, and inspection assistance.
Ensure confidentiality of all new product information.
Handle special projects as required.

Required
5+ years of product Engineering experience, preferably with Wet ESPs.
MS/BS degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
In depth understanding of mass & energy balances, thermodynamics.
Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in design, development and/or engineering.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work effectively with cross functional teams.
Self-Starter who can manage multiple tasks simultaneously, work with various teams in the organization, and meet project deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
