Responsibilities
Develop In-Product Marketing Strategies: Create, align on, and implement marketing strategies embedded directly within the product to drive user engagement, feature adoption, retention, and cross-sell / upsell opportunities.
Product Messaging and Positioning: Develop clear and compelling in-product messaging that aligns with Cisco’s brand voice and communicates product value propositions effectively.
Customer Journey Optimization: Design and enhance in-product experiences, ensuring personalized, relevant touchpoints throughout the customer lifecycle, from onboarding to upselling and renewal. Ensure in-product marketing efforts align with key stages such as onboarding, activation, engagement, and renewal. Iterate on content, design, and delivery to maximize user impact.
Collaborate with Cross-functional Teams: Work closely with product engineers, product marketers, customer experience leads, and global marketers to create seamless in-product campaigns and optimize user flows.
Campaign Execution: Plan, align, launch, and manage in-product marketing campaigns, including messaging, feature announcements, product updates, and cross-sell or upsell promotions.
User Segmentation and Targeting: Leverage data and behavioral insights to segment users and deliver personalized marketing experiences based on user behavior, preferences, and engagement.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Track, analyze, and report on the performance of in-product campaigns, using key metrics such as engagement rates, feature adoption, and user retention to inform decision-making.
Drive Product Adoption: Identify opportunities to promote new features or services within the product, guiding users toward greater product utilization and maximizing customer lifetime value.
Stay Ahead of Trends: Keep up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in in-product marketing, applying best practices to continuously enhance the user experience.

Required
10+ years of related experience including Director+ experience leading product-led growth initiatives
Experience developing In-Product Marketing Strategies
BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience
SaaS Experience
Proven experience creating strategies to boost user engagement, drive feature adoption, improve retention, and/or enhance cross-sell and upsell opportunities for SaaS products required for consideration
Strong analytical skills and meticulous approach to numbers
