Responsibilities
Complete projects to meet product line revenue, growth, and profitability
Design and implement experiments translating instrument performance into meaningful data
Develop content for marketing campaigns and sales tools
Conduct training sessions for sales and customer service teams
Implement Voice of the Customer efforts to ensure product concepts meet customer needs
Manage key opinion leader and customer collaborations for technology evaluation

Required
Minimum Master’s degree in analytical chemistry or related field with 5+ years of relevant experience is required or a Ph.D. degree with 2+ years of experience is preferred
Minimum of five years of hands-on experience with liquid chromatography mass spectrometry operation, troubleshooting, and applications method development experience
Demonstrate expertise in proteomics applications using LC-MS is a must with knowledge in targeted workflows is a plus
Hands-on practical knowledge of sample preparation of biological samples is required
Excellent written and verbal presentation skills required
Skill to pick up new technologies quickly and troubleshoot independently
Ability to develop credibility and network with proven and positive professional relationships
Ability to work within a highly matrixed organization with cross functional teams is essential
Up to 30% of domestic and international travel
Ability to demonstrate Thermo Fisher Scientific values – Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement
Preferred
Ph.D. degree with 2+ years of experience
Knowledge of product management and marketing processes is a plus
Hands-on experience in Metabolomics and Lipidomics workflows is a plus
