Responsibilities

Acquire and analyze market information to determine the performance of markets and products against agreed-upon criteria.
Acquire, track, and understand primary and secondary market information, including competitive intelligence, to help identify market insights and trends.
Track and analyze internal product information for established products to identify trends, issues, and opportunities to address.
Monitor and report ongoing business results to support cross-functional activities impacting each step of the learner life cycle.
Support the management of the product portfolio, including assessing products for restaging and retirement, adjusting existing products as needed to reflect new market/consumer insights, and building a pipeline of potential future products.
Serve as the primary market liaison to the Strategic Operations team taking a leadership role to get new/revised products/initiatives (aligned to University strategic priorities) launched on time and within budget.
Partnering with the Academic team to drive market plan goals and results.

Required

Excellent verbal and written presentation skills.
Excellent project management skills.
Strong cross-functional leadership skills.
Keen eye for detail.
A minimum of 2-3 years of broad-based business experience.
At least one year in product/service marketing or strategic operational role.
Must be able to travel 10% of the time.
Must be able to lift 10lbs.
Typical office setting.
Mobility within the office including movement from floor to floor.
Travel via plane, car, and metro may be required to perform this job.
Must be able to work more than 40 hours per week when business needs warrant.
Access information using a computer.
Effectively communicate, both up and down the management chain.
Effectively cope with stressful situations.
Strong mental acuity.
Regular, dependable attendance and punctuality are essential functions of this job.
Other essential functions and marginal job functions are subject to modification.

Preferred

Market knowledge and/or experience supporting products and services, with an understanding of internal processes, target market definition, product design and positioning, pricing, promotional strategies, data collection, and reporting requirements strongly preferred.
BS degree required in business, marketing, strategy, or finance strongly preferred.
