Responsibilities

Lead client workshops and meetings to gather requirements, understand business objectives, and define data product vision and scope.
Develop and present compelling presentations and proposals to showcase data product solutions and their value proposition.
Build strong relationships with client stakeholders and act as a trusted advisor throughout the engagement lifecycle.
Conduct market research, competitive analysis, and data analysis to identify opportunities and define data product strategy.
Develop and maintain a prioritized product roadmap, outlining key features, milestones, and success metrics.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data engineers, data scientists, business analysts) to align on product vision and execution.
Translate business requirements into detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for data product development.
Manage the product backlog, prioritize features, and ensure alignment with the overall product roadmap.
Oversee the end-to-end data product development lifecycle, from ideation to launch and iteration.
Implement agile methodologies and best practices to ensure efficient and iterative product development.
Analyze data to understand user behavior, identify trends, and measure product performance.
Leverage data visualization tools and techniques to communicate insights and recommendations effectively.
Collaborate with data scientists to develop advanced analytics models and algorithms to enhance data products.
Effectively communicate product vision, roadmap, and progress to clients and internal stakeholders.
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration between data engineering, data science, business analysis, and client teams.
Present product demos and updates to clients, showcasing value and progress towards objectives.

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
3+ years of experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on data-driven products or data & analytics solutions.
Strong understanding of data warehousing, data lakes, and data pipelines.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Experience with data visualization and business intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI).
Knowledge of agile methodologies and software development lifecycle.
Ability to translate business needs into technical requirements and vice versa.
Experience identifying, quantifying, and measuring business value creation within an industry (for example: financial services, life sciences, retail/CPG, etc)
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and concisely.
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders.
Proven ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
