Responsibilities

Product Philosophy: We care deeply about building outstanding customer experiences, and so should you. While we optimize for outcomes and speed, you understand that all product work starts with asking the question of 'why' and ensuring you seek to validate everything you do.

Market Research: Conduct thorough market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive insights to inform product decisions and drive product improvements.

Insights & Data: You are comfortable with writing SQL queries or doing whatever is necessary to infer both value and insight in all your work.

UI/UX Collaboration: We aim for someone proficient - or at least intellectually curious about Figma. Low - Medium fidelity wireframes should be well within your wheelhouse

Lean Methodology: Advocate for Agile/LEAN methodologies and best practices, facilitating sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives to ensure an organized and efficient development process.

Mortgage Industry Knowledge: Utilize your knowledge of the mortgage industry to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for innovation and growth (knowledge of mortgage processes, regulations, and industry dynamics is a plus)

Technical Appreciation: While we don’t expect you to code or even read code, understanding of APIs, how they function, and how they are documented, is extremely important. While not required, knowledge of Postman would be a bonus.

Required

3+ years in previous Product Owner/Manager Role

Experience leading and collaborating with multiple cross-functional departments and projects

A get-it-done mindset with a very high bias for action; you’re resourceful and happy to be hands-on and undaunted by multiple dependencies both internal and external

Experience in using JIRA, Figma, Miro, and Notion/Confluence

Experience producing high-quality work in a remote, and deadline-driven team environment both domestically and internationally

Able to build good interpersonal relationships with peers, leaders, and other senior management throughout the company as well as with a wide variety of partners and customers
