Responsibilities
Manage and communicate project schedules, goals, dependencies, and coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
Propose and implement customer insight activities to understand pain points, needs, and market trends.
Conduct research and analysis on products/market segments to understand customer workflows and contribute to customer goals.
Collaborate with marketing on messaging, product positioning, and go-to-market strategies.
Serve as the expert on product features and functionality, working with various teams for effective product launches.
Develop a list of contacts by market segment and track their activity to generate leads for sales.
Articulate a vision for product improvements and enhancements based on customer needs.
Assess product strengths and weaknesses relative to the competition and analyze usage analytics for decision-making.
Assist in developing product roadmaps that align with business strategy goals.
Gather requirements, write specifications, and user stories for products and enhancements.
Work with cross-functional teams to guide product development efforts.

Required
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
2-3 years of digital product experience or 1 year digital product experience + relevant market development/marketing experience. Medical sector and publishing company experience highly preferred.
Proven experience in market development, go-to-market, and supporting lead generation.
Proven experience in product strategy, product management, or related digital product role for B2B/B2C web-based information or software products.
Analytical and able to create sound business arguments backed up by data.
Experience working in cross-functional teams and managing multiple stakeholders.
Experience and expertise in requirements-gathering/analysis and in writing high-level specifications, including teasing out edge cases and identifying gaps and/or missed requirements.
Understanding of general project management practices and tasks; this is not a project management role; however, all members of the team manage projects to some extent and this role will likewise contribute to the overall effort on initiatives.
Experience with Medical Education and Medical Practice markets highly preferred.

Ability to gauge, based on a high-level understanding of requirements, what the scale of a feature or enhancement might be.
Strong sense of natural curiosity and willingness to ask frequent questions, especially in asking “why?”
Strategic and commercial thinker: must have excellent critical thinking skills.
Excellent oral, written, presentation, and listening skills.
Strong strategy design, execution, prioritization, and organization skills.
Able to, and adept at adjusting, responding to, and managing a changing list of priorities and business needs to meet deadlines.
Foster a transparent, open, and collaborative environment.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: 5 to 10 percent based on the needs of the business
