Responsibilities

Serve as the product owner on one of the App modernization development team, supporting projects on web applications in the Research Department, and others. Main area of focus will be on technical modernization.

Manage and prioritize backlog related to app tech modernization projects, change the order of items in the prioritized list of requirements as needed to maintain a cohesive vision regarding the product.

Maximizing the value produced by the team and ensuring stories meet the user’s needs and comply with the Definition of Done.

Providing clarification necessary to assist the team with their story estimates and sequencing including writing requirements, refining user stories, planning stories into sprints.

Work with the development team to inspect and evaluate product progress through each iteration. Gather information and provide results to team to determine performance level and readiness to move on to next steps in the product roadmap.

Collaborate with other agile teams on cross teamwork dependency.

Participate in all pre-planning, stand-up, backlog refinement, reviews, retrospectives, roadmaps, and other meetings as requested.

Build release plan and confirm feasibility and estimate efforts of projects with respect to business objectives and report to product manager.

Track progress towards the desired outcomes for web applications. Work with team to identify and organize the steps required for each iteration in product development.

Collaborate with business owners on production deployments and testing needs.

Promptly provide written status updates to the Bank, as requested.
