Responsibilities
Holistically responsible for the game’s development from ideation, prototype, pre-production and beyond, directing all aspects of team management and game development
Ensures key game features, production priorities and product choices meet the game’s vision and schedule
Adapts personal methods to the project’s vision and team composition, then composes and pitches production methods that work best for this team and project
Leads the team in adapting production methodologies - pivots production methods when necessary
Manages the team’s overall execution - identifying critical path issues, removing roadblocks, and driving efficiency and accountability in execution
Fosters a positive team culture and an environment that motivates developers to bring their best effort at all times
Continuously assesses team and leadership capabilities to ensure that the product teams are set up for success
Encourages a learning environment in which constructive feedback is freely given and received.
Develops and maintains a team-wide empathy for our players and the player experience
Works with marketing goals to ensure external deliverables

Required
6 years of production experience and/or at least 3 shipped game titles for this role
Extensive publisher relations and third party vendor experience
Able to instill a healthy and strong collaborative, communicative mindset within an entire organization
Experience leading and mentoring production team members
Deep understanding of game development, software development process, and project management practices
Experience in console and PC development, including understanding technical requirements and certification processes
Self-starter, you approach challenges creatively and methodically, seeing them through to final resolution
Experience with remote work and coordinating work across multiple time zones
