Responsibilities
Design and implement manufacturing processes for new and existing products, utilizing techniques such as Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Prototyping
Perform root cause analysis to identify and troubleshoot production issues, implementing solutions to improve efficiency and reduce costs
Collaborate with Product Development and Product Management teams to ensure that product design meets production requirements and is optimized for efficiency
Conduct verification and validation testing to ensure product quality and compliance with industry standards and regulations
Manage the production team and oversee the production schedule, ensuring timely delivery of products
Work with Quality Assurance (QA) team to develop and implement quality control procedures
Collaborate with Supply Chain Management to ensure timely and efficient procurement of materials
Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners, including suppliers and manufacturers, to ensure smooth production processes
Maintain product specifications and BOMs (Bill of Materials) to ensure accuracy and compliance
Ensure materials compliance with relevant regulations and standards
Manage change requests and implement changes to production processes as needed
6 weeks per year worth of travelling.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Production, Manufacturing, or a related field
Minimum of 1 years of experience in production engineering or a similar role
Strong technical skills and experience with CAD software, such as SolidWorks and OnShape
Excellent communication and cross-cultural communication skills
Strong project management and time management abilities
Ability to work well in a team and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
Experience with change management and innovation
