Responsibilities

Manage a team of 8-10+ employees

Oversee an active pipeline of 100+ loans in process.

Manage the day to day process of the team - only providing the VP with necessary information - handle the business from origination to fund.

Also in charge of any process improvement - figure out how to do more, be better.

Seek out partnership contacts internally to get the job done (from secondary, to compliance, to underwriting and closing)

Have a leadership acumen in mortgage that understands product, pricing, presentation, pipeline management, and be proactive

Required

Experience in Mortgage Ops leadership (3+ years) - and managing a team

Strong knowledge of Encompass

Has their NMLS licensed or willing to get licensed

Understand mortgage compliance (specially, RESPA, REG B, ATR/QM, ECOA, TILA)

Knows how to price a loan – understands OB and PAR pricing

Knowledge of Gov’t, Jumbo, Conv, Broker business

Knows how to pre-approve a loan for a client

Have ideas – think about ways to improve, discuss these ideas, and implement and track them
