Responsibilities

Act as a coach, mentor, and leader to direct reports to achieve team, department, and company goals and objectives.

Organize and prioritize manufacturing and production activities to meet customer demands.

Implement and ensure compliance with company controlled documents related to production.

Implement and monitor Lean Manufacturing initiatives.

Ensure quality and customer specifications are met.

Oversee training of production personnel on policies and procedures.

Consult with other departments to assure adequate tools and processes are in place.

Manage inventory movements and ensure proper maintenance of machinery and facilities.

Required

Minimum 2 years experience with Flexographic & Screen Printing.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in similar positions in the manufacturing environment.

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in team leadership or managing direct reports.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles, 5S and other productivity and quality improvement methods.

Experience with OSHA and other regulations and rules which affect safety.

Reading, analyzing, and interpreting technical procedures, manuals and manufacturing documents including financial data as it relates to the business.

Preferred

Bachelor’s degree or higher educational degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Printing Services, or other related field preferred.

Experience with ERP/MRP systems, SAP Preferred.

Work activity requires repetitive bending, reaching, walking, stooping, and crouching, lifting, and climbing. Job duties also require regular use of fingers and hand when working with material and equipment.
