Responsibilities

Support safety risk analysis, Independent Operational Assessments, Audits and Assessments and general overall safety analyses.

Support development of risk management policies and processes, delivery of training courses and development of assessment strategies, plans, procedures, checklists, and the support of conduct.

Test & Evaluation conduct.

Requirements verification and/or validation.

Preparing checklist, Test Plans, Procedures and Test Reports.

Developing schedules and program plans.

Perform data reduction and analysis on large volumes of data.

Assist work groups who perform safety analyses by taking notes, recording actions, writing safety documentation, and analyzing data.

Read and understand the risk management policy and process and train others.

Provide expertise in the application of the safety risk management policy; provide input to support efforts to improve policy and processes.

Provide project support to help track tasks, goals, and progress.

Perform other duties as assigned to meet contract, company, and departmental goals and objectives.

Required

Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, mathematics, physics or related degree.

5-10 years of related work experience

Knowledge of FAA systems, procedures, air traffic control

Knowledge in safety, safety risk management and test and evaluation of systems

Must be able to pass a federal background investigation.

Candidate must be able to think conceptually and work independently.

Good analytic and writing skills.

Ability to use Microsoft products (e.g. Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, and Project)
