Responsibilities
Manage budget and cost on multiple projects with discrete funding sources from multiple agencies.
Work directly with Program Management, Project Managers, Cost Account Managers, Finance, and Business Operations Team.
Develop, refine, and report on actuals, estimates to complete, and estimates at complete.
Report special project status and progress to the Finance and Business Operations Manager.
Coordinate and work with Primary Customer POC’s on Project Statuses and funding actions.

Required
Bachelors’ Degree with 8+ years of applicable experience
Firm understanding of Estimates At Complete
Proficient in MS Office Skills, in particular MS Excel
Strong Organization, analytical, presentation and interpersonal skills
Experience in Program Finance
Desire and ability to train Project Managers and Cost Account Managers that lack financial acumen
Must be able to “own” the process
Customer Focused
Ability to handle high volume of data (hundreds of projects) in a fast paced, cyclical, and demanding work environment
Proven capability and experience working both tandem and serial tasks
Self-motivated with a can-do attitude
Ability to analyze problems for root cause and implement corrective action
Strong Problem solving skills
Prior Finance experience in government contracting
Knowledge of Leidos financial systems and applications such as: OBI, Cognos, PowerBI, Fusion, CostPoint
FAR, GAAP and SOX knowledge
Understanding of EVM/”EVM Light”
Preferred
PMP Certification
