Responsibilities
Lead and mentor a team of SREs, providing guidance on best practices, processes, and career development.
Drive initiatives across multiple organizations to automate operational tasks, improving efficiency and reducing manual intervention.
Define and implement strategies for maintaining and improving system reliability and uptime.
Oversee incident response processes, ensuring quick resolution of issues and minimizing downtime.
Establish robust monitoring and alerting systems to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to plan for capacity needs and scalability.
Work closely with software development teams to integrate reliability into the software development lifecycle.
Foster a culture of continuous improvement through post-mortem analyses and proactive recommendations.
Ensure all systems, processes, and procedures are well-documented and up to date.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
8+ years of experience in software engineering, system administration, or site reliability engineering
3+ years of experience in a leadership role managing SRE or DevOps teams
Strong knowledge of cloud services (AWS, GCP, Azure) and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
Experience with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack) and incident management systems (PagerDuty, Opsgenie)
Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (Python, Go, Java, etc.)
Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in high-pressure environments
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a focus on team-building and mentorship
Preferred
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
