Responsibilities
Actively manage assigned projects to ensure requirements are fully understood and met and that the project completes on budget and to the planned schedule.
Create and manage project schedules, budgets, and timelines under the direction of the Director of Advanced Systems
Assign tasks to team members and ensure milestones are met.
Prepare and present clear and concise program reports, briefings, and presentations that effectively communicate technical information to diverse audiences.
Build strong working relationships with partners, sub-contractors, internal teams, and end customers.
Utilize both technical and program management expertise to facilitate communication between technical teams, identify risks, and develop effective mitigation strategies.
Use JIRA (or similar tools) to assign tasks, track progress, manage requirements, and ensure contract deliverables are completed.

Required
U.S. Citizen with the ability to obtain a US security clearance (Secret)
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Minimum of 8+ years of total experience across hands-on development work and managing technical programs
Minimum of 3+ years of experience working within a DOD/IC environment (Federal Employee, Defense Contractor, etc.)
Experience managing complex projects (e.g., projects that leverage direct labor, subcontractors, and vendors to develop both hardware and software applications)
Excellent written, oral, and presentation skills with experience in customer-facing roles.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Ability to manage and negotiate for competing resources across product lines and portfolios
Proven ability to work effectively and independently in dynamic environment.
Expected travel should be less than 15%
Preferred
Master’s degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
Over 12+ years of total experience across hands-on development work and managing technical programs within the DOD or IC environment.
Active US Security clearance
Deep familiarity with managing complex programs software programs
Familiarity with using JIRA, Agile/SAFe methodologies, and requirements management.
Understanding of neuromorphic computing, or photonic computing technologies
Deep understanding of AI/ML and signal processing algorithms.
Technical/hands-on experience developing hardware and software (to include firmware)
Demonstrated leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
