Responsibilities
Uses professional judgment to independently complete engineering design tasks within federal, state, and local established criteria.
Leads the design of site layouts, grading plans, stormwater management facilities, water quality best management practices, and utilities.
Prepares submittals to State, Municipal, and other agencies.
Works with the Project Manager to assign and manage tasks and schedules for Staff Engineers and Design Technicians.
Communicates effectively and coordinates with project team members.
Participates and provides input in the preparation of engineering services proposals, including the calculation/estimation of time schedules and costs of the proposed work.
Signs and seals engineering documents as an authorized representative of the company.
Independently communicates on technical matters with the client.

Required
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited four-year or graduate engineering university in a relevant discipline.
5 to 10 years of relevant engineering experience.
The ability to plan and lead the preparation of contract documents for Land Development projects (specifically Commercial and Multifamily).
Must possess or be eligible to obtain a Professional Engineer (P.E.) license.
