Responsibilities

Apply intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering and scientific principles and practices in solid waste assignment areas and related fields.

Complete designs using 2D and Civil 3D AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, etc.

Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, reports, and permit applications.

Make decisions independently on engineering or scientific problems and methods, plan and coordinate work, and represent the company at meetings and conferences.

Perform field work in varied terrain and weather.

Perform office-based tasks including AutoCAD drafting, mathematical calculations, report writing, creating site plans and facility diagrams, permit applications, etc.

Engage in business development activities including proposal preparation, meeting with clients, and attending industry-related conferences/trade shows.

Receive technical guidance on unusual or complex problems and supervisory approval on proposed plans or projects.
