Responsibilities
Reviews design drawings and 3D BIM Models for accuracy and completeness.
Coordinates project sequencing and basic detailing job setup.
Monitors project schedules and communicates possible delays.
Organizes detailing RFI process and fulfills documentation duties.
Acts as a liaison between various project stakeholders.
Provides assistance to the Project Management Team.
Coordinates detailing efforts of subcontractors.
Serves as a link between different departments and stakeholders.
Assists with selection and training of Project Coordinators.

Required
High School Diploma or GED required
Associates degree or training from an approved and accredited technical school in engineering or detailing/drafting may substitute for two (2) years of the required experience
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Construction Management, Structural/Civil Engineering, or Business may substitute for 3 years of the required experience
Experience in the coordination of structural steel projects is preferred
Ability to read and interpret shop and design drawings
General understanding and knowledge of basic drafting skills, 3D modeling software/Tekla practices, fabrication and erection standards, standard technical terminology, common structural steel practices, and drafting room procedures
