Responsibilities
Manages and performs site investigations
Evaluates surface and/or subsurface conditions and provides recommendations
Plans and implements engineering programs according to customer requirements
Develops and maintains project schedules and budgets
Provides reports on project milestones and adjusts schedules as needed
Controls project expenditures within budget limitations
Coordinates project staffing and oversees project personnel
Prepares and delivers project deliverables, design documents, and proposals
Reviews product design for compliance with engineering principles and customer requirements
Interfaces with customers to provide project status reports
Plans research schedules, conducts experiments, and monitors data for safety purposes
Develops research plans and outlines research procedures
Reinforces business relationships with existing and new clients
Prepares proposal estimates for project completion
Affixes Professional Engineer seal on completed work
Travels 10% of the time, including out-of-state travel

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience and 5 years of project management related experience
Professional Engineer (PE) is required
40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER certification
Registered Professional Engineer (PE)
Valid Driver’s License and possess reliable transportation to access job sites
Able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry
Able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations
Proficient or familiarity with AutoCAD, Autodesk Civil 3D, NitroPro, GSLOPE, KeyWall, Rocscience, MS Word, Excel, Adobe
Preferred
