Responsibilities
Assist in project planning, value-added engineering means, methods, and developing work packages.
Identify and educate the team on state/local environmental compliance laws.
Research and resolve conflicts in design/drawings to ensure compliance with codes.
Verify quantity tracking data, measure productivity, and interpret production goals.
Track progress of Vendors and Subcontractors, maintain project schedule, and generate informational logs.
Provide engineering input to the daily job log and maintain contract compliance listings.
Identify, document, and estimate costs of extra work, establish project change order log.
Coordinate submittals approval and perform other assigned duties.

Required
Requires a four-year degree in engineering or construction management degree or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or experience in heavy infrastructure construction.
Thorough knowledge of all aspects of construction (technology, equipment, methods): craft agreements, jurisdiction, negotiations, engineering, estimating, schedules, and safety required.
Excellent communication and organizational skills are essential.
Must be willing to travel.
