Responsibilities
Play the lead role in the design and coordination of roadway, drainage, and utility projects for public and private clients.
Collaborate with other groups/disciplines within the company to deliver top quality projects and service to clients.
Perform design calculations, quantity and cost estimates, and plan preparation.
Compile, write, and edit quality technical reports, feasibility reports, letters, memos, and specifications for projects.
Help with proposals, project budgets and schedules, planning activities, public involvement, and other presentation opportunities.
Oversee the work of EITs or Technicians.
Plan, direct, and coordinate project activities to ensure projects are delivered within prescribed time frames and budgets.
Regular communication with the client, project schedule and budget oversight, and subconsultant coordination.

Required
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or similar degree from an accredited school
4-7 years of experience in Municipal/Civil Site/Transportation engineering or related field
Ability to prepare, read and understand construction plans and technical documents
Functional understanding of design software packages, preferably AutoCAD Civil 3D and HydroCAD
Valid driver's license with a good driving record
Excellent communication skills
Strong work ethic
Preferred
Texas PE license or ability to obtain license within six months
