Responsibilities
Drive construction team success of commercial construction projects, working under the supervision of a Project Manager.
Oversee daily administration of prime contracts, trade contracts, and purchase orders, collaborating with subcontractors, architects, engineers, and owners.
Lead orderly and efficient project document control (e.g. submittals, RFI’s, pay applications)
Manage project costs and change functions on a project including change orders, back-charges
Create and update critical path schedules
Assist with creation of Invitation to Bid (ITB), project manuals and work scoping.
Assist with contract draft scoping, project accounting, budget control, accounting.
Assist field staff with coordination of supply of materials, equipment, and labor.
Assist field staff to ensure quality control measures are established and maintained.
Assist field staff with all safety requirements
Assist operations staff with estimating and buy-out
Utilize industry specific software, including ProCore, Primavera P6, MS Office Suite

Required
BS. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architecture
5+ years prior experience is desired
Strong organizational, problem solving, and analytical skills
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
Desire to work in a collaborative team environment
Ability to sit, walk, stand, climb stairs, climb ladder
Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use
Vision: Visual acuity in near, mid and far range vision. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination
Hearing: Sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone and computer; sufficient to hear alarms on equipment
Speech: Sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio
Lift/Carry: Up to 50lb
Preferred
Prior experience in commercial construction projects
Experience with industry-specific software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, MS Office Suite
