Responsibilities

Perform Project specific engineering support, including: Preparing project submittals, Maintaining project record documents, Performing technical review of contract plans and specifications, Providing oversight and documentation related to project quality control, Preparing daily construction reports and progress tracking, Managing, interpreting, and performing site surveying, Assisting with the management of subcontractors, Assisting with the procurement or rental of equipment and materials, Assisting Project Manager with project daily cost reporting and tracking.
Perform Office engineering support, including: Assisting in the development of project cost estimates, proposals, and material take-offs, Performing technical analysis of the remediation methodologies of various previously remediated projects, Performing other administrative or office duties as required, Traveling to project sites as necessary for extended durations, Adhering to all federal, state, and local regulations.
Perform additional assignments and special projects as directed.

Required
BS, Civil Engineering, Construction Management or equivalent preferred but not mandatory.
Must be able to thoroughly understand the scope of project through plans and project specifications.
Must have strong computer aptitude, including MS Office.
Must be self-directed with outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
Must be able to work with limited supervision.
Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology, codes and standards, and an in-depth understanding of the interdependence and relationship between other functional units.
Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for excellence and taking initiative.
Strong work ethic, willing to do what it takes to get the job done right the first time.
Demonstrated commitment to ethics and integrity.
Passion for safety, with the ability to help ensure that nobody gets hurt.
Team player with the ability to work independently to meet deadlines, goals, and objectives.
Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
Excellent computer skills including knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office, Outlook, and Excel.

Highly proactive and responsive to internal and external customers.
Good problem-solving skills/decision-making skills.
Preferred
Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software.
Experience with Primavera P6 scheduling software.
Experience with Microsoft Project scheduling software.
Experience with USACE QCS System.
Experience with site surveying, both conventional and GPS.
Assisting with the development of cost estimates and proposals.
Prior project experience with In-Situ Stabilization.
Prior experience with materials procurement and purchasing.
40 Hour HAZWOPER training.
Competent Person Safety Training.
8-Hour Supervisory Training.
30-Hour OSHA Construction Safety Training.
First Aid and CPR.
