Responsibilities

Develop project objectives by reviewing proposals and plans, and collaborating with management.

Define project responsibilities, identify project phases and elements, and assign personnel.

Evaluate contractor bids to ensure alignment with project requirements.

Establish project specifications by studying design requirements, customer needs, and performance standards.

Conduct technical studies and prepare cost estimates.

Confirm product performance by designing and conducting tests.

Monitor and control project schedules, progress, and expenditures.

Ensure smooth coordination of activities and resolve issues to meet project deadlines.

Administer contractor contracts and approve expenditures.

Maintain adherence to design specifications, project plans, and schedules.

Recommend actions to control costs and manage schedule changes effectively.

Prepare project status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.

Represent the organization as the primary customer contact on contracts or projects.

Build consensus among stakeholders and explain technical or sensitive information.

Define, generate, and review project requirements documentation.

Lead or contribute to technical studies that refine project objectives and deliverables.

Serve as a resource and mentor for less experienced colleagues.
