Responsibilities
Manage all technical aspects of multiple and/or major projects utilizing the Product Planning and Development Procedure.
Design, validate, provide test reports and sign-off documents, and ensure production readiness.
Coordinate with CAD, FEA and laboratory personnel and interface with other departments in support of the above.
Coordinate the technical design and test aspects on projects with suppliers and customers.
Provide continuous improvement through employee development, process improvement and elimination of waste. Help to assure safety in the lab and office.
Other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor of Science degree in technical discipline required.
6+ years of experience in vehicle structural design (preferable heavy or medium duty truck) with exposure to dynamic structural analysis, finite element analysis, fatigue analysis, and product design.
Demonstrated product innovation.
Electrical or brake experience a plus.
Demonstrated ability to manage and meet product development deadlines.
Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to drive issues to resolution.
Preferred
BSME/BSAgE/BS AeroE preferred.
Project management experience preferred.
