Responsibilities
Oversee the planning, implementation, and tracking of construction projects from inception to completion
Review project plans, specifications, and contracts to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with regulations
Coordinate and communicate between various stakeholders including architects, contractors, and clients
Schedule and lead meetings to discuss project details, timelines, and progress
Manage project documentation, including permits, drawings, and reports, ensuring all records are kept up to date
Monitor project progress and adjust plans as necessary to meet deadlines and budget constraints
Conduct on-site inspections to ensure work is being done according to specifications and safety standards
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and issues throughout the project lifecycle
Collaborate with the procurement department to procure necessary materials, equipment, and labor
Review and approve change orders and ensure they are communicated and documented appropriately
Provide technical support and guidance to the construction team and subcontractors
Facilitate the resolution of any construction problems encountered during the project
Ensure quality control measures are implemented and adhered to by the construction team
Assist with the preparation and submission of project status reports to stakeholders
Coordinate the commissioning and handover of completed projects to the client, ensuring all requirements are met

Required
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field
1-2 years’ experience as a co-op and project engineer or equivalent
OSHA certification
Experience with Viewpoint, Procore, and Phoenix scheduling
Follow all OSHA, EPA, ODH, company and site-specific safety policies and procedures
Preferred
Experience with higher education projects is a plus
