Responsibilities
High level of technical curiosity and willingness to learn about our process, equipment options and client needs
Assist Probst Project Managers in exceeding client expectations by developing technical options
Review process data and prepare process design calculations
Gather and analyze client data for use in design development
Assist in the analysis of existing treatment processes and wastewater characteristics to determine existing loadings to wastewater treatment plants (WWTP)
Evaluate, select, and apply various wastewater treatment technologies, equipment, and processes to identify ways to optimize performance or develop designs
Complete bid requests and evaluate quotations for equipment and contractors
Work with drafters to develop site layouts, process flows, and process instrumentation diagrams
Develop and review design calculations, engineering reports, technical memos, and operation & maintenance manuals for industrial wastewater treatment systems
Other duties as assigned

Required
Completion of a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university, preferably with a focus in Mechanical, Civil Engineering, or Environmental Engineering
Ability to work in a state-of-the-art collaborative environment located in Hartland, WI
Willingness to visit clients at their sites to develop an understanding of process and equipment requirements. Travel up to 20% may be required, depending on project demands
Display strong, concise written communication, primarily for reports, directions, or proposals
Preferred
Coursework or experience in Industrial Wastewater Management is a plus
