Responsibilities

Inspects construction site daily and works with contractors to schedule deliveries.

Interprets designs and drawings for crafts installing materials and qualifications.

Prepares field design change requisitions and 'as built' drawings.

Verifies that all completed work complies with applicable codes, drawings, and specifications.

Attends meetings to coordinate design and construction efforts.

Participates in job walks, documents findings, and reports.

Understands company's quality control plan and documents any quality control issues.

Generates queries and reports in Procore software.

Reviews and maintains Quality Assurance/Quality Control Policies and Procedures.

Understands company safety program and participates in safety inspections.

Creates specification checklists and reviews submittals against specifications.

Possesses the ability to attend meetings, transcribe detailed meeting minutes, and more.

Required

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management or related from an accredited institution and 5+ years of relevant experience with construction projects in the NYC metro area valued at 150 million or more

Ability to successfully prioritize and manage multiple tasks and assignments

Performs work tasks by receiving direction and then working independently with an interest in quickly learning and applying new skills and abilities

Working knowledge of Prolog or similar software

Working knowledge of blueprint reading required

Working knowledge of scheduling and estimating software

Intermediate knowledge of Windows Office Systems; particularly in Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc

Excellent written and verbal skills
