Responsibilities
Applies sound engineering knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of project assignments.
Coordinates and directs development of work, scope, budget, and schedule for projects and tasks.
Coordinates input from, and participation with, various departments within the company as needed to meet project objectives.
Development or improvement of program processes.
Documenting each phase of the project.
Assists project managers during the preparation and review of engineering designs, specifications, standards, studies, cost estimates, and the development of sound technical recommendations, in support of projects and tasks managed by others.
Perform other job-related duties as necessary.
Developing contacts with key engineers and officials in other organizations to confirm that engineering practices applied are consistent with current engineering standards, regulatory requirements, and current technological innovations.
Providing input to project managers and senior leadership concerning potential process and design improvements related to engineering design and technology.
Following systems of quality control and checking on all projects assigned.
Developing and maintaining quality relationships with clients.

Required
Bachelor of Science in Engineering Required
1-2 years of previous related engineering experience required
Requires knowledge of engineering practices and concepts, cost analysis, and applicable policies
Requires ability to plan and manage workload so that assignments are completed on time and in proper priority
Requires ability to review problems and propose innovative solutions, which involve technical, operations, and economic issues, and may link new concepts and technologies
Ability to apply engineering/technical principles to analyze and resolve problems
Must possess the ability to effectively interact with various departments to maintain open lines of communication
Must clearly and concisely communicate technical and non-technical information and concepts with various levels of management and stakeholders in both formal and informal settings
