Responsibilities
Develop and maintain models for each individual project finance transaction. This includes running sensitivity analysis, modeling different financing structures, and updating models with the latest project parameters and investor requirements.
Build development models to assess the economic viability of solar and storage projects while also providing development team pricing guidance for lease and Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) offers.
Support project finance transactions, which includes the preparation of models, third-party reports, and various other financing deliverables for lenders and tax equity investors.
Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, and project development) to gather information and documents for investors’ due diligence process.
Coordinate with development and finance teams to create and manage project budgets and cash flow projections, ensuring adequate capital is available to meet project milestones.
Conduct due diligence on projects within the development pipeline, assessing financial, operational, and regulatory risks to validate project viability.
Generate accurate and timely financial reports, investment performance updates, and other required documentation to meet investor reporting requirements.
Oversee the loan drawdown process by compiling and preparing required documentation and deliverables for lenders.
Stay informed on emerging trends, government policies, financing structures, tax incentives, and regulatory changes in the distributed solar and storage industry.
Communicate insights on market changes and regulatory shifts to the team, helping inform strategic planning and investment decisions.
Work closely with internal teams, including development, EPC, legal, and accounting, as well as external consultants, to drive successful project financing and execution.
Engage with third-party investors, proactively communicating project progress, financial performance, and market trends, and addressing inquiries in a timely and professional manner.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field.
1-2 years of experience in renewable energy finance, investment banking, and/or a related industry; experience within the distributed solar and storage sector is preferred.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel with strong financial modeling and valuation skills, including scenario analysis and sensitivity modeling.
In-depth understanding of renewable energy markets, financing structures (debt and tax equity), and regulatory frameworks impacting the solar and storage sectors.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data, evaluate investment opportunities, and provide insightful recommendations.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of presenting complex financial concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred
Experience within the distributed solar and storage sector.
