Responsibilities
Collaborate with Project Finance team leaders to structure, negotiate, and close project financings, including tax equity structures.
Ensure accuracy in financial models and review work completed by Analysts.
Analyze and review proposed development project models.
Build a comprehensive understanding of models for tax equity financial structures.
Develop knowledge of tax and accounting rules relevant to projects.
Independently manage day-to-day execution of due diligence for project finance and M&A transactions.
Assist developers in structuring valuation models to assess economic benefits and risks for new acquisitions and greenfield opportunities.
Partner with internal engineers, developers, and accounting professionals to establish sound project model assumptions.
Prepare and validate investment memos, investor presentations, and project summaries.
Maintain up-to-date intelligence on project finance matters (e.g., tax equity terms, property and sales tax information, local subsidies, RECs, etc.).
Support the Asset Management team with operating reports and draw requests.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in finance, economics, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in finance, banking, or the power industry.
Proven ability to work with complex financial models in Excel.
Exceptional analytical and quantitative problem-solving abilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Self-starter with the ability to work independently and minimal supervision.
High attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
Team player with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Skilled at identifying and resolving priority conflicts constructively.
Preferred
Advanced degree preferred.
Experience in tax equity and/or term debt transactions within the renewables sector is highly desirable.
