Responsibilities

Support Financial Manager in executing proper controls to proactively support, monitor, and communicate budget, actual status, and forecast costs, labor hours, and quantities for projects.
Support the Financial Manager in the development and maintenance of periodic status reports to keep management and/or client informed of project progress. Assist in updating accounting systems.
Assist in project setup, maintenance, and updates to project budgets.
Assists the Financial Manager in calculating monthly subcontractor accruals and quarterly financial updates.
Assist the Financial Manager in resolving payment or labor charging discrepancies identified on review of Project Status Reports.
Other assigned tasks as needed.
Conduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.
Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.
Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.

Required

Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related field required; however, a combination of education and relevant experience wherein the knowledge, skills and abilities to perform the position’s duties and responsibilities have been adequately demonstrated is acceptable.
Advanced spreadsheet skills using excel to organize and manipulate data to enhance decisions (pivot tables, complex formulas, etc.).
Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, etc.).
Data Entry, Data Reconciliation, Cost Calculations.
Extraordinary attention to detail.
Ability to work closely with others to meet deadlines.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred

Prefer 2-5 years as a project analyst in project centric business.
Oracle ERP systems experience preferred, but not required.
