Responsibilities
Lead the implementation of an EHR application, including creating project charters, schedules, and business case workbooks.
Develop and manage data migration strategies and implementation plans.
Oversee workflows, analyze system requirements, and ensure alignment with best practices.
Act as a liaison between business owners, IT teams, and solution vendors to manage day-to-day project activities.
Conduct regular project team meetings and prepare weekly status updates for stakeholders.
Manage risks, issues, and contingency plans while ensuring the project stays on track.
Support database-related activities with knowledge of InterSystems Caché, Oracle, and Microsoft SQL Server.
Use project management tools like MS Project, Jira, and Visio to plan, monitor, and report progress.

Required
10+ years of experience in managing large-scale projects, including EHR system implementation.
Proven expertise in application migration, workflow analysis, and developing SDLC artifacts.
Strong technical understanding of databases, data mapping, and cleaning.
Excellent interpersonal skills to lead diverse teams and collaborate with stakeholders.
Ability to communicate effectively through written and verbal updates and conduct regular status meetings.
Preferred
Experience with SaaS-based EHR systems and cloud data migration.
Familiarity with HHSC federal/state processes and related project documentation.
PMP Certification or equivalent project management credentials.
