Responsibilities
Promote a "Safety First" mindset across all levels of management and operations on multiple projects.
Supervise and manage the selection, training, development, appraisal, and assignments of various personnel groups in different locations.
Interpret and plan work according to project specifications and contract requirements.
Anticipate project conflicts, develop preventative action plans, and implement solutions to avoid issues.
Plan work in accordance with project plans, change orders, shop drawings, subcontracts, purchase orders, and monthly pay estimates.
Select and oversee suppliers.
Create, update, review, and maintain project budgets, ensuring projects stay on time and within budget.
Monitor labor and equipment costs, implementing strategies to remain within budget.
Schedule projects in logical steps, budgeting time to meet deadlines, and actively participate in preconstruction and geotechnical operations.
Support and oversee geotechnical designs.
Provide leadership by example and share knowledge and skills.
Oversee daily field activities with field engineers and superintendents to ensure optimal project progression.
Present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers.
Provide pre-bid takeoffs for the geotechnical scope of project bids.
Assemble, review, and publish monthly reports.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Required
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, civil engineering, geotechnical engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience is highly preferred.
3+ years of experience managing construction projects, including highways, bridges, and geotechnical works.
Knowledge of soil nail walls, tiebacks, drilled shafts, and related geotechnical operations.
Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint.
Valid driver’s license for frequent travel.
Proficiency in English for verbal and written communication.
Ability to calculate figures such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Understanding of basic algebra and geometry concepts.
Comprehensive understanding of construction math.
Moderate physical activity involving some strenuous daily administrative tasks.
Occasional exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including rain, sun, snow, and wind.
Ability to maneuver around minor obstacles at construction sites.
Manual dexterity to handle items and work with fingers.
Ability to apply mathematical concepts such as probability, statistical inference, and the fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.
