Responsibilities

Manage business application projects, ensuring strong governance, defined timelines, milestones, and clear reporting.

Work collaboratively with SAP Consultants, vendors, business stakeholders, and internal teams to align project goals and deliverables.

Drive project delivery in a hybrid methodology, incorporating Agile practices while working in a primarily Waterfall environment.

Develop user-friendly and audience-specific project status reports to communicate progress, risks, and milestones concisely.

Approach an evolving and less mature project environment with a proactive mindset, implementing structure and processes where needed.

Lead integration projects with data systems, including SAP, and ensure seamless collaboration across operational and technical teams.

Foster a 'One Team' philosophy through strong communication and stakeholder engagement.

Support change management initiatives, implementing new processes while guiding the team through a maturing organizational structure.

Ensure that collaboration tools are used effectively for remote teamwork and reporting.

Required

7+ years of experience managing business application projects, with strong governance and project management discipline.

Experience managing end-to-end IT projects.

Proven ability to work in environments transitioning to Agile practices while primarily following Waterfall methodologies.

Strong collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders of varying seniority levels.

Hands-on problem-solving approach with a proactive, 'Go-Getter' mindset.

Experience managing relationships, and ensuring alignment with project goals.

Excellent reporting skills: ability to deliver simple, audience-specific status updates and milestones.

Fluency in English with exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).

Familiarity with collaboration tools for remote project management.

Availability to work in the Eastern Time Zone (EST).

Preferred

PMP or similar project management certification.

Experience with SAP projects or integration.

Fluency in Portuguese.

Previous experience working in a maturing project environment, building processes from scratch.

Located in Buffalo, NY (preferred but not required).
