Responsibilities

Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders.

Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocation strategies.

Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including risk assessments and mitigation plans.

Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment with project goals.

Assign tasks, monitor progress, and foster collaboration among team members.

Provide regular coaching and mentorship to team members to achieve high performance.

Act as the primary point of contact for stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.

Communicate project status, risks, and updates effectively through reports and presentations.

Manage expectations and ensure stakeholder satisfaction by delivering value-driven outcomes.

Identify potential risks and issues, analyze their impact, and implement mitigation strategies.

Monitor and resolve project conflicts and roadblocks proactively.

Ensure deliverables meet quality standards and align with organizational objectives.

Conduct project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.

Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost efficiency.

Track expenses and report on project financials regularly.

Apply Agile, Scrum, or traditional SDLC methodologies based on project requirements.

Facilitate sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups for Agile projects.

Required

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience in managing projects in diverse industries.

Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps).

Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).

Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.

ExperienceFamiliarity with [specific industry/domain expertise, e.g., IT, construction, healthcare, etc.].

Required Security clearance.

Preferred

Advanced certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or SAFe Agilist.

Experience with enterprise tools like Microsoft Dynamics, TFS, or SharePoint.

Federal Experience is a plus.
