Responsibilities
Manage and interact with Project Engineers and Superintendents.
Develop and build relationships with sub-contractors and customers.
Communicate effectively and professionally with internal peers and executives, as well as customer representatives of all levels.
Schedule and conduct review meetings with the Construction Manager to assess project status and provide feedback.
Complete tasks according to assigned schedule while delivering high-quality work products.
Review and analyze final budget, plans, specifications, owner contract requirements, and subcontractor bid comparisons in order to perform detailed scope review and subcontractor selection. This will include but not be limited to siding, roofing, HVAC/electrical/plumbing, flooring, sheetrock, structural, sitework, etc.
When project is awarded, review the approved scope of the contract, create construction schedule, complete buy-out of project through subcontractor selection and contract execution, attend pre-construction meetings and collaborate with the Project Engineer throughout the entire project to drive it to completion and exceed customer expectations at every turn.
Collect, review and provide all necessary submittals and cut sheets to architect.
Request and compile material and labor pricing to finalize change order requests.
Collect, review and respond to subcontractor RFI’s, compile and submit RFI’s to architect as necessary.
Create and maintain project logs as required by owner contract.
Create and submit project status packages to owner.
Create and disperse O&M manuals and close out documents.
Maintain the project through warranty.

Required
4-year college degree (preferably with a major in a Construction related field) or 5-8 years applicable field experience
Ability to travel as many projects are outside of Atlanta, GA
Relevant work experience in the construction industry is required. Multifamily renovation experience is a plus
Must be able to communicate effectively with team members, clients and outside vendors/subcontractors
Ability to prioritize tasks and make decisions within established guidelines and policies
Preferred
Experience or knowledge of Viewpoint/Vista, Procore and MS Project is highly preferred
Experience with or knowledge of On Center OST, Bluebeam or other digital take-off or estimating software application(s) is preferred
