Responsibilities

Manage and oversee IT projects, including the supervision of the Junior Business Analyst position
Perform more complex business process analysis to determine potential needs and works with internal customers to identify changes or improvements to the functionality and efficiency of these processes
Recommend information technology solutions to meet business needs and coordinate the planning, development, and implementation of these solutions
Act independently to identify, analyze, propose, and document appropriate solutions for issues that may impact the project, day-to-day operations, and or project costs
Assist in the development of standards and create a template for data migration or integration from the current system to new requirements
Responsible for leading and overseeing companywide IT projects
Create and maintain all project documentation through approved software
Work with the technical team to review, analyze and define requirements and recommend viable IT-related solutions
Negotiate agreements and commitment by facilitating communication between the business unit(s) and IT from initial requirements to final implementation
Create a detailed business analysis and flowcharts where needed, outlining problems, opportunities, and solutions for business
Document how information is stored and what rules are applied for storing the information/data
Validate solutions and performs Quality Assurance to ensure business requirements are met
Support end-user needs and responds to requests in a timely manner
Proactively consult with and determines impact to end users when hardware and/or software changes are proposed or going to occur
Responsible for defining and developing user stories/use cases/acceptance criteria
Build data dictionary/data definition matrix to clearly define data elements and their meaning
Oversee user acceptance testing (UAT)
Ensure vendor performance and contract compliance; independently directs immediate action and compliance of vendors to meet performance metrics and requirements of the organization
Facilitate change management for IT solutions & manages related projects
Make recommendations related to software needs; identifies system approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale
Review/create/manage RFP’s to procure new hardware and software systems

Required

Bachelor’s degree in a computer-related or business studies field and five (5) years of related experience
Proven analytical & technical background experience
Experience with SQL queries for data analysis
Ability to work within a variety of computer programs and/or operating systems, such as Windows, Office 365, MS Dynamics, SharePoint, Great Plains, Video Conferencing (Zoom), and numerous hosted and on-premises systems required by various local, State and Federal agencies
Understanding of Entity Relationship Diagrams (ERD), Data Modeling and data flow diagrams
Demonstrated knowledge of Excel, Macro usage and functionality
Knowledge of the Project Management Institute’s framework (PMBOK)

Preferred

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
