Responsibilities
Planning, directing and implementing large scale health care information technology projects
Ensuring they are successful from a schedule, budget, quality and implementation perspective
Provides technical and business expertise to ensure projects are properly planned, appropriately monitored and managed
Performed in accordance with DIT standards and practices
Completed on-time, within budget, with the desired quality, and providing the expected technical capabilities and business benefits or results

Required
Minimum 5 years of experience in leading medium size, complex project(s), multiple small projects, at least one of which has medium risk and impact
Proven ability to provide regular day-to-day planning & organize the work of others, ability to multi-task & demonstrated high level of written skills
Well versed in IT, particularly relevant applications and platforms as well as agency and enterprise operational capabilities and strategies
Experience with providing project management leadership on complex projects and facilitating team involvement in resolving difficult technical issues
Proven ability to translate & communicate highly technical concepts, information, plans, & procedures to both highly technical personnel & non-IT users
Knowledge of the Project Management process, procedures, documentation, checklists, and reporting criteria
Knowledge & demonstrated ability to conduct detailed planning, project testing, & perform risk assessments & their associated risk mitigation actions
Ability to design and manage technical projects using quality assurance practices to ensure the project will be implemented on time
Experience in developing reports and graphical presentations for technical and non-technical audiences
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and Project
